4. Analytics tools and advertising

‍

IP anonymization

We have activated the IP anonymization feature on this website. As a result, your IP address will be truncated by Google within member states of the European Union or other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before being transmitted to the USA. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activity, and provide other services related to website and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other data held by Google.

‍

Browser plugin

You can prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting your browser software settings; however, please note that if you do so, you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. Furthermore, you can prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie regarding your use of the website (including your IP address) by Google, as well as the processing of this data by Google, by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en.

Objecting to data collection

You can prevent the collection of your data by Google Analytics by clicking on the following link. An opt-out cookie will be set to prevent your data from being collected during future visits to this website: Disable Google Analytics.

For more information on how Google Analytics handles user data, please refer to Google's privacy policy: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=en.

‍

Data processing

We have entered into a data processing agreement with Google and fully implement the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities when using Google Analytics.

Demographics in Google Analytics

This website uses the "demographics" feature of Google Analytics. This allows reports to be generated that contain information about the age, gender, and interests of site visitors. This data comes from interest-based advertising from Google as well as visitor data from third-party providers. This data cannot be attributed to any specific person. You can disable this feature at any time via the ad settings in your Google account or generally prohibit the collection of your data by Google Analytics as described in the "Objecting to data collection" section.

Data retention

Data stored by Google at the user and event level that is linked to cookies, user identifiers (e.g., User ID), or advertising IDs (e.g., DoubleClick cookies, Android advertising ID) is anonymized or deleted after 14 months. You can find details on this at the following link: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/7667196?hl=en

‍

Google AdWords and Google Conversion Tracking

This website uses Google AdWords. AdWords is an online advertising program provided by Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

We use so-called conversion tracking as part of Google AdWords. When you click on an ad placed by Google, a cookie for conversion tracking is set. Cookies are small text files that the internet browser stores on the user's computer. These cookies expire after 30 days and are not used for personal identification of users. If the user visits certain pages of this website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page.

Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Cookies cannot be tracked across the websites of AdWords customers. The information obtained using the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Customers are informed of the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page equipped with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that can personally identify users. If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you can opt out of this use by easily disabling the Google conversion tracking cookie through your internet browser's user settings. You will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics.

The storage of "conversion cookies" and the use of this tracking tool are based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analyzing user behavior to optimize both its website and its advertising. If consent has been requested (e.g., consent to store cookies), processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; consent can be revoked at any time.

More information on Google AdWords and Google Conversion Tracking can be found in Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en.

You can configure your browser to inform you about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies on a case-by-case basis, exclude the acceptance of cookies for specific cases or in general, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If cookies are disabled, the functionality of this website may be limited.

5. Plugins and Tools

Google Web Fonts

This site uses web fonts provided by Google for the uniform display of fonts. When you open a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache to display texts and fonts correctly.

For this purpose, the browser you use must connect to Google's servers. This informs Google that our website has been accessed via your IP address. The use of Google Web Fonts is in the interest of a uniform and appealing presentation of our online services. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font from your computer will be used.

Further information on Google Web Fonts can be found at https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and in Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en.

‍
Appointment booking via Calendly

To schedule consultation and information appointments, we use the service Calendly, provided by Calendly LLC, 271 17th St NW, Atlanta, GA 30363, USA.

When you schedule an appointment via the booking link, the data you enter there (in particular your name, email address, requested appointment time, and any other information you provide voluntarily) is transmitted to Calendly and processed there for appointment management. When you access the booking page, technical connection data such as your IP address is also processed.

The purpose of the processing is to organize and conduct the appointment you have requested. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, insofar as the appointment scheduling serves to prepare or fulfill a contractual relationship; otherwise, it is based on our legitimate interest in efficient appointment management under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

We have entered into a data processing agreement with Calendly. To the extent that personal data is transferred to the USA, this is done on the basis of appropriate safeguards in accordance with Art. 44 et seq. GDPR, in particular the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

Data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for scheduling purposes and there are no statutory retention obligations to the contrary. Further information can be found in Calendly's privacy policy at https://calendly.com/privacy.

6. Gamification and Leagues

Within the app, we offer an optional gamification system featuring a weekly league competition. If you choose to participate, we process a display name (pseudonym) of your choice, the activity points (XP) you collect during the week, and your current league level for this purpose.

This information is displayed in a leaderboard to other participating users in your weekly competition group (typically up to 20 people). Groups are formed across different users and studios; therefore, people outside of your studio may also see your display name and score. Health data or other profile details are not displayed.

You choose your display name freely and can change it at any time in the settings. You are not required to use your real name and can remain pseudonymous at all times.

Participation is voluntary and requires your explicit consent (opt-in). The legal basis for this is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time with future effect and end your participation in the settings; your display name and ranking entries will then be removed. Choosing not to participate will not result in any disadvantages regarding your use of the rest of the app.

The current weekly leaderboard is visible for the duration of the ongoing competition. We store your display name and ranking data for as long as your account exists and you participate in the gamification features. If you withdraw your consent, end your participation, or delete your account, this data will be removed.
